One day, Shinji loses his house key and is unable to get in. He is rescued by his neighbor, the widowed Yuko, and ends up spending the night in her room until his parents return. Shinji is attracted to Yuko, who is cheerful and kind despite being single, but he finds a used condom in the gap in the sofa. “When my husband is not around… there are times when I just can’t control myself… so the other day… please, don’t tell anyone about this…”
